Attorney Stephanie Puente Williams has handled thousands of insurance claims in her years in practice
Stephanie Puente Williams is a second generation Cuban-American who reads and speaks Spanish fluently. As a Miami native, she identifies well with the needs of families in South Florida.
Stephanie loves the practice of law as it allows her to fight for the rights of her clients who need legal representation. She finds great pleasure informing both businesses and homeowners of their legal and contractual rights while standing tall against insurance companies.
Stephanie’s practice is in civil litigation. She represents business owners and homeowners in property insurance claims. She is a passionate, energetic, and determined attorney committed to getting the best results for her clients.
Stephanie gained invaluable experience and insight by learning the litigation strategies of insurance companies when she practiced insurance defense in a firm that represented several insurance companies. This “view from the other perspective” affords her great insight in how to handle and win a case by understanding what the insurance carrier is looking for to justify the claim.
Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Florida (B.A. 2009). She received her law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law (J.D. 2012). Stephanie entered law school with a merit scholarship and was a Dean’s list recipient for several semesters. In addition, she served as President of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (2011-12), an Ambassador of the Student Bar Association (2011), a member of the Rosemary Barkett Appellate American Inn of Court (2011-2012), and member of the Cuban American Student Bar Association (2009-2012).
